Surges on telephone lines can cause damage to computer systems and other sensitive equipment. Polar Creative developed the phone/modem adapter with surge protection in 2006.

Whereas most telecoms accessories are bland and white, Polar Creative modernised the look and feel of the filter to create a high end product.  A sky blue indicator subtly reassures the user that the surge protection is active and confirms that the product is correctly connected.

Polar Creative developed the project from concept sketches to final production.

The filters are currently being sold in PC World and Dixons.
