Surges on telephone lines can cause damage to computer systems. Polar Creative developed dial-up and ADSL filters with surge protection in 2006.

Whereas most telecoms accessories are bland and white, Polar Creative modernised the look and feel of the surge protected ADSL filter to create a high end product.  A sky blue indicator subtly reassures the user that the surge protection is active and confirms that the product is correctly connected.

Polar Creative developed the project from concept sketches to final production.

The ADSL filters are currently being sold in PC World and Dixons.
